Parking at the Center

Parking at the Catholic Center is reserved for Catholic Center members, UGA students, faculty and staff who are registered at the Catholic Center.

We provide parking permits ($30.00 fee) for our students, faculty and staff. Please pick up a 2012-2013 decal at the Center office Monday through Friday between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm. On weekdays, UGA students, faculty and staff just park in the Catholic Center lower lots only.

Weekdays

•No parking permitted in the upper lot which is reserved for those attending services, programs, those who have business in the Center Office and those who come to pray
•No parking in spaces on either side of the chapel or on the kitchen side of the Center building
•No overnight parking by students

Weekends

•Parking is reserved for funerals, weddings and Masses
•No day or overnight parking by students
•No parking on home football game days by students

Football Weekends

On UGA home football game days, the ENTIRE Catholic Center parking lot will close on the Friday prior to games at 7pm and remain closed until the end of the game on that Saturday. All spaces have been sold and are therefore reserved. All violators will be towed at the owner’s expense and there will be absolutely NO overnight parking allowed. For the 2013 season, the home game dates are as follows:

* September 7 - South Carolina

* September 21 - North Texas

* September 28 - LSU

* October 12 - Missouri

* November 9 - Appalachian State

* November 23 - Kentucky

People using the UGA Track are not authorized to park at the Catholic Center. Towing will be enforced for unauthorized parking at the owner’s expense and vehicles will be towed by Shuman Services of 1563 S. Lumpkin Street at 706.543.4349. (Cost if car towed - $125.00 + $15 daily if not picked up on same day. After-hours release $25.)
